Possible uses and use restrictions...
To maintain federally owned school facilities and restore or improve them where appropriate to enable an LEA to accept ownership. The Department directly oversees construction projects, unless the LEA has agreed to accept transfer of the facility, in which case funds may be provided to the LEA to complete the project after the transfer. This program is subject to non-supplanting requirements and must use a restricted indirect cost rate which is referenced under 34 CFR 76.563.
